Synopsis
Li-ann and Jeremy met in Chinatown, Singapore, on February 29, 1980. For Li-ann, it was love at first sight. For Jeremy, he had to stay loyal to his fiance. However, they promised to meet at the same time and place every leap year. In a love story spanning 20 years, Li-ann and Jeremy must grapple with their true desires and the pains of love.
The Leap Years is one of the highest grossing English-language Singaporean feature films. It was the showcase film at Vancouver ExplorASIAN in 2010, the closing film at Vancouver Singapore International Film Festival in 2009, and was screened at the Shanghai International Film Festival in 2008.
