When Kai Le, a super intelligent chief accountant with Asperger’s undergoes radiotherapy for a developing brain tumour, she accidentally gains a mind-reading ability. Hard-headed, no-nonsense investigator Zheng Yi finds out about her secret ability and blackmails her to get her to join his team. The reluctant partnership between Kai Le and Zheng Yi lead them to solve some of Singapore’s most intriguing and disturbing crimes, bringing the pair into the world of loan sharks, cults and human trafficking.
